What we do
Carpentry that fits the house you actually have.
Almost no wall in a Calgary house is straight, square or plumb — including in new construction. On a typical ten-foot living-room wall we routinely find six to fifteen millimetres of variation end to end.
A modular unit covers that with trim. A properly built built-in is scribed to it, so the edges follow the wall and no light shows through the joint. That difference is visible from across the room, and it is most of what separates carpentry that looks made from carpentry that looks bought.
We design, build and install custom cabinetry, built-ins, feature walls, trim and millwork for homes and businesses across Calgary and the surrounding area — from a single accent wall to a whole-house millwork programme.

Whole-Room Projects
Why homeowners choose us
Careful work, honestly quoted.
We would rather talk you out of the wrong project than sell you one. Everything below is something you can hold us to.
Fixed written quotes
You get a drawing and a fixed price before anything is built — not an hourly estimate that moves.
Built for this climate
Material and joinery chosen for Calgary’s dry winters, so joints stay closed when the humidity drops.
Shop-built, site-scribed
Components made in a controlled shop, then scribed to your actual walls rather than trimmed to hide gaps.
One point of contact
The person who measures your space is the person accountable for the finished work.
How it works
Five steps, no surprises.
Most projects run two to six weeks from the first visit. You will know which stage you are at throughout.
Consultation
We visit, measure, and talk through what the space actually needs to do. Free, and no obligation.
Design & drawing
You get elevation drawings and a fixed written price. Changing a drawing costs nothing; changing built cabinetry does not.
Shop build
Carcasses, doors and drawers built in the shop where tolerances, dust and finishing are controllable.
Installation
Levelled, fixed to structure and scribed to your walls. Usually one to three days on site.
Finish & walk-through
Filling, caulking and final coats. We walk it with you, list anything not right, and come back to correct it.

Reviews
What clients say
We publish reviews from our Google Business Profile rather than writing our own. Connect the profile and they appear here automatically.
Pre-launch placeholder
No reviews are displayed because none have been verified yet. To enable this section, add your Google Business Profile URL, rating and review count to lib/site-config.ts and set reviews.verified to true. AggregateRating schema is emitted only once that data is real.
We deliberately do not display invented testimonials. Fabricated reviews breach Google’s structured-data policy and are grounds for a manual action.

Common questions
Questions we are asked most
- What does custom carpentry cost in Calgary?
- It depends almost entirely on the number of doors and drawers, the finish method and the material — those three decide most of the price. Rather than quote a range that will be wrong for your space, we measure, produce a drawing and give you a fixed written price. Consultations and quotes are free.
- How long does a typical project take?
- Most residential built-ins run two to five weeks from the measure appointment to final touch-up, with only one to three days of that on site. Kitchens, basement developments and projects involving other trades run longer.
- Which areas do you serve?
- All four Calgary quadrants and downtown, plus Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks, High River and Rocky View County. Travel affects how we schedule installation days rather than whether we take the work.
- Do you handle permits?
- Carpentry alone rarely requires a permit. Permits become relevant for basement development, structural changes and new electrical or plumbing work. Where a project needs one we will say so clearly and coordinate with the appropriate licensed trades or a general contractor.
- Why do cabinets and trim crack in Calgary homes?
- Indoor humidity in a heated Calgary house regularly falls to 15–25% in deep winter, and wood shrinks as it dries. We design around it — MDF for painted components, floating panels, coped inside corners and material acclimatised indoors before fitting. Running a humidifier at around 35% through winter helps considerably.
- Do you provide free estimates?
- Yes. In-home consultations and written estimates are free and carry no obligation. We measure, discuss what the space needs to do, and provide a fixed written quote.
